Tea Towels

  • Our design and printing process makes Hazelmade Tea Towels practical for everyday use and easy to care for. Our towels are machine washable and dryer safe. The fabric uses a diamond-shaped weave that flexes to release stains. The towel may feel stiff at first, but with each use, wash and dry, the fabric will begin to soften while still maintaining the design’s color.

  • Yes. Hazelmade Tea Towels are screen printed using a double heat set process that fuses the ink to the fabric, ensuring that the design will not fade, pick or peel over time or in the wash. The material is a pre-shrunk 100% cotton flour sack, so they will not excessively shrink in the dryer. We recommend a low to medium setting to extend the life of your fabrics.

  • Hazelmade Tea Towels are made from pre-shrunk 100% cotton flour sack. We use water-based, eco-friendly inks. Because of the natural whitening process we use for our fabrics, a minimal amount of colored threads may appear in our tea towels.

  • Hazelmade Tea Towels use a traditional “Drop Design” popular in the 1940s and 50s. They are cut from the original width of the fabric to minimize textile waste. These towels are oversized, with a wide, ink-free border, making them ultra absorbent. The design is centered on the lower two-thirds of the towel, so it can be displayed by folding and draping over an oven handle or towel rack.

Shipping & Orders

  • Yes. Local Pick Up is available Tuesday - Friday, 10AM-4PM. When your order is ready for pick up, you will receive an email with instructions to schedule your pick-up time. Please note our studio is on the second floor. Email orders@shopHazelmade.com for accessible pick-up alternatives.

  • Your order will ship within 1 to 3 business days—if not sooner. All orders ship via UPS. Shipping times vary depending on time of year. Please contact orders@shophazelmade.com for expedited shipping and time-sensitive orders prior to placing your order.

  • Shipping costs are calculated during the checkout process and you may select the option based on price and / or speed of delivery. Free shipping offers will show if applicable during checkout. Hazelmade is not responsible for any carrier delays. You'll receive an email with tracking information as soon as your order ships. Please email orders@shophazelmade.com with any questions.

  • Yes, we offer international shipping. Shipping costs are calculated during the checkout process and you may select the option based on price and/or speed of delivery.

  • We’re unable to change the shipping address on an order once it’s placed. Once your order ships, we recommend contacting the shipping carrier directly to update your address.

  • You will receive an email confirming your order and another email with tracking information when the order is shipped. Please email orders@shophazelmade.com with any questions.

  • Once an order is placed, it is unable to be canceled or modified. Please email orders@shophazelmade.com with any questions.

  • Though this rarely happens, please report any damaged or missing items to orders@shophazelmade.com within 2 days of delivery. 

Returns & Exchanges

  • Upon receiving your shipment, you have 10 days to request a return. Original shipping costs are non-refundable, and the return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

    To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

    If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

  • Please email orders@shophazelmade.com to start a return.

  • We do not offer exchanges. If you would like a different product, process a return based on our return policies and complete a new purchase.

  • We are not able to offer price adjustments. If you have additional questions, please reach out to us at orders@shophazelmade.com.

Payments

  • We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, ShopPay, PayPal, Google Pay, Venmo and Hazelmade gift cards. Only one credit card may be applied per order. Your card will be charged at the time your order is placed. If you are using a Hazelmade issued gift card, the funds will be removed from your balance at the time your order is placed. All pricing is listed in USD.

  • If you would like information on large order quantity pricing or customization please email orders@shophazelmade.com. For information regarding wholesale, please see our wholesale page.

  • Yes, occasionally we have sales or discount codes available. These will always be announced to our newsletter subscribers first, so make sure you are signed up through this form. Often, sales will be advertised through our Instagram account as well, so follow @hazelmade.

Gifting

  • Yes, you can purchase a digital gift card here. We offer digital gift cards, delivered by email. For physical gift cards or a custom dollar amount, please email orders@shophazelmade.com.

  • Yes, you can add a handwritten note to your order. Find the product you would like gift to gift and click the button that says “Gift This Item.” You can then select a gifting option. Under “Gifting Options,” select “Gift Note (with message).” You can also select a pattern for the gifting occasion. Type your message in the box, and our staff will handwrite your note for inclusion in your gift. Email orders@shophazelmade.com with any questions.

  • Yes, you can add custom-designed wrapping paper to your order. Find the product you would like gift wrapped, and click the button that says “Gift This Item.” You can then select a gifting option. If you would like multiple items wrapped together, click “Gift This Item” on one item, and at checkout, indicate in the Order Notes which items you would like wrapped together. You can also have your entire cart gift wrapped by selecting “Gift Your Entire Order” at checkout. Email orders@shophazelmade.com with questions or for more details.

  • Pricing information is never included with shipments to destinations within the USA. There is no pricing information on the products themselves or on the packing slips we include with each shipment. Additionally, if you used a coupon code or discount code, that information will not show on a packing slip. 

    Shipping to a destination outside of the USA may require a customs note which may include a list of items and / or cost of items. If you have questions about shipping a gift outside of the USA and what may be included, please email orders@shophazelmade.com.

Custom Orders

  • Please see our Custom Artwork page for details on custom products and packaging. We take a limited number of custom orders for businesses, events or weddings. Please email orders@shophazelmade.com to discuss your project details.

Wholesale

  • There are two ways to order wholesale from us. If you are a Faire user you can find us via our Faire Direct Link. Otherwise email orders@shophazelmade.com to get started.

  • Email orders@shophazelmade.com for terms and availability.

  • Email orders@shophazelmade.com to request a copy of our digital catalog.

  • Once the order has shipped, you will be able to check the status via Faire or through the tracking information sent via email.

  • Please email orders@shophazelmade.com so that we can assist you.

  • Once an order has been placed we are unable to cancel or alter your order in any way.

  • We ask that you sell products in their original packaging. Relabeling, repackaging (including the separation of bundled products or the bundling of individually sold products), and otherwise altering products or their packaging is not permitted. Failure to comply may result in account termination. Please let us know if you have any questions regarding our packaging.

Studio

  • The Hazelmade is located at 548 South Water Street, Kent Ohio 44240. We are located on the second floor.

  • The Hazelmade Studio is our home base. This is where we store inventory, inspect and package products and create new work. It’s the center of Hazelmade, where new pieces come to life. This is also where our team fulfills and ships orders to customers and wholesale partners.

  • The studio is not open to the public. However, we occasionally open our studio for workshops, private shopping and other events. We are proud to be a part of the Kent community, and we love opening our doors to share our space with you whenever we can.
