About this Role

Are you a logistics pro with a passion for creative brands? Are you interested in joining a growing team? We're looking for a Fulfillment + Market Specialist to be the operational heart of Hazelmade. You'll be the one who ensures every customer order is packed with care and shipped flawlessly. You'll also be the backbone of our in-person sales events, from planning and budgeting to making sure our team is ready to sell. This is a crucial role for someone who loves to manage a to-do list, solve problems, and take ownership of a growing business's operational needs.

Primary Responsibilities

Fulfillment + Studio Operations

  • Manage all order fulfillment: This includes pulling, packing, and shipping online retail and wholesale orders accurately and efficiently.

  • Maintain studio inventory: Track all supplies, anticipate needs, and manage the reordering process to ensure the studio is always stocked.

  • Package products: Carefully package new products with a keen eye for detail and quality.

Market & Event Coordination

  • Plan and manage all in-person sales events: Take ownership of our market calendar, including researching new opportunities, submitting applications, handling licensing and compliance, and creating detailed budgets.

  • Coordinate event logistics: Organize all travel arrangements and freight logistics, pack all necessary inventory, and ensure our POS system is ready for a successful event.

  • Collaborate with the team: Schedule Sales Staff and work with the owner to plan event schedules and ensure the team has everything they need.

Qualifications We're Looking For

  • Prior experience in a similar role, ideally within e-commerce, retail, or a small business.

  • Exceptional organizational skills and a meticulous attention to detail.

  • Strong time management skills with a proven ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Experience using e-commerce platforms like Shopify is a plus.

  • Comfortable with physical tasks, including lifting up to 30 lbs, moving boxes, and standing for extended periods.
