ABOUT THE POSITION :
The Part-Time Sales Associate position will provide support for Hazelmade’s busy fall and winter market season. This position will require driving to the greater Cleveland and Akron areas, plus one event in Pittsburgh. The Sales Associate is responsible for greeting customers, answering basic customer questions and processing sales through the POS system. The ideal candidate is friendly and outgoing. The Sales Associate must be able to work independently, think on their feet, troubleshoot tech issues and stand for extended periods. Reliable transportation is required. This position is scheduled as a 1099 contract employee. 

PRIMARY TASKS : 

  • Load and unload vehicle
  • Operate hand cart and transport inventory / supply bins
  • Attend events and / or workshops in a sales capacity
  • Greet customers
  • Answer basic questions about the products
  • Operate the POS system
  • Troubleshoot tech issues

  • Have customer service, sales or cashier experience
  • Possess reliable transportation
  • Have an outgoing and energetic personality

  • Able to stand for long periods of time
  • Able to lift boxes weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Able to climb steps, stairs and ramps
