What is your COVID-19 policy?
We are monitoring case levels in our community in order to ensure the safest environment for our staff and guests. Considering this, with certain limitations of our space and our aim to be as inclusive as possible without compromising safety, we have the following policy:

Employees: We require our employees to be fully vaccinated and boosted. If they are exposed to COVID-19 or are showing any symptoms, they are asked to stay home and return after a negative PCR test.

Guests: Guests are required to wear a mask if they are not vaccinated and boosted. Due to certain limitations of our space and close proximity of our guests, we require all attendees to show proof of vaccination/booster or a negative PCR test within the last 72 hours, or wear a mask. If you are exposed to COVID-19, or are experiencing symptoms, please email me (info@shopHazelmade.com) as soon as possible and I will refund the price of your ticket. 

Based on case levels at the time of the event, we may require masking for all in attendance. We want our space to be a comfortable place for everyone to gather. Thank you for working with us to keep our community safe.

What is your cancellation policy?
Once you purchase a spot, we will begin buying supplies and preparing materials for you. There are no refunds for cancellations on classes. You are welcome to give your spot to someone else. Please email me (info@shopHazelmade.com) with any questions. The policy is firm, but we also understand that life happens.

Is it possible to have a friend / partner come along to just hang out while I take the workshop?
Our space is small, and to be respectful of the other students and the instructor, each reservation is for that person only.

Can I shop before or after class?
Yes! We open our doors 15 minutes before each scheduled workshop time and remain open for 30 minutes past the end time. Workshop students receive a discount for purchases made in the studio the night of their event.

Where do workshops take place?
Our studio is located in downtown Kent, Ohio. The address is 154 North Water Street, Suite 2B, Kent Ohio 44240.

How do I access your space?
Our studio is located on the second floor of an old warehouse building. Unfortunately, access to our space is limited to stairs. There is no elevator. Please email me for more information.

Where do I park?
Metered and two-hour free parking spaces are available on the street outside the studio. There is a free city parking lot across the street from our building. Please check posted signs for parking restrictions and rules.

Can I bring my child / children to the workshop?
At this time our workshops are for ages 16+ only. Please email me (info@shopHazelmade.com) if you are interested in seeing youth workshops in the future.

How early should I arrive?
Workshops start promptly at the posted time. Please arrive a few minutes early. We open doors 15 minutes prior to the start time. Out of respect for other students, doors will be locked at the start time to ensure an uninterrupted workshop.

Is there a chance that the class may be canceled?
In the event that a workshop needs to be canceled due to low registration, instructor emergency, or inclement weather, we will cancel or reschedule. If this does happen, you will be contacted immediately and will receive a 100% refund. If a workshop has to be canceled, you will get an email at least 48 hours in advance.
